Biloxi Blues by Neil Simon is part of a trilogy of plays about Eugene Jerome. In Brighton Beach Memoirs (the first play) Eugene is coping with adolescence in 1930’s Brooklyn.

In Biloxi Blues it is now 1943 and he is a young army recruit during WW II, going through basic training and learning about Life and Love with a capital 'L' along with some harsher lessons, while stationed at boot camp in Biloxi, Mississippi,

What happens when a conservative English antique book seller corresponds with an assertive, some people would say brash, female writer from New York? Join us to find out and let yourself be transported to the aftermath of World War II all the way to The Beatles’ Abbey Road.

With its twenty years of correspondence, 84 Charing Cross Road will take you through a whirlwind of emotions. This play, based on a book by Helene Hanff, begs the question “What if we could mend division, even in this polarized and volatile world of ours, with one friendly relationship at a time?”
