On Saturday, April 25, the Met will present an unprecedented virtual At-Home Gala, featuring more than 40 artists performing in a live stream from their homes all around the world.
The gala will be hosted by General Manager Peter Gelb and Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and will feature live and pre-recorded performances that were created from individual takes from the homes of each of the musicians in the days leading up to the gala.
The gala will stream live at 1:00pm EDT for free on the Met’s website, and will be available for on-demand viewing until 6:30pm EDT on Sunday, April 26.
The Met also continues to offer their free Nightly Opera Streams; Verdi’s La Traviata and Rossini’s La Cenerentola round out this week’s schedule.
