CAN I BUY A GIFT certificate FOR ANY SHOW?

Because tickets are sold through our box office partners, gift certificates are venue-specific. This means that Firehall gift certificates are only valid for Firehall shows and select special events, dinner theatre gift certificates are only valid for Best Western shows, and musical theatre gift certificates are only valid for the Capitol Theatre.

Dinner theatre gift certificates can be purchased through the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn & Convention Centre at (905) 372-2105. Capitol Theatre gift certificates can be purchased through the Capitol Theatre.

DOES A GIFT certificate GUARANTEE A TICKET?

No, we do not hold seats specifically for gift certificate users. The gift certificate recipient is responsible for booking tickets.

Northumberland Players does not take responsibility for unused gift certificates.

How do I redeem a gift certificate?

Gift certificates for Firehall Theatre shows and select special events can be redeemed on the Northumberland Players website. When purchasing tickets, you will have the option to "Enter a Gift Card" while checking out. Use the code provided in the email you received.

Gift certificates for the Best Western and Capitol Theatre are subject to redemption policies put in place by those venues.

DO GIFT certificates EXPIRE?

Gift certificates purchased for use on the Northumberland Players website do not expire.
