Front of House & 50/50 Volunteer Training

New volunteers welcome!

Our Front of House volunteers are the face of the theatre experience, and we would love to have you join us!

All volunteers (new and returning) require some basic training for three venues: Firehall Theatre, Concert Hall at Victoria Hall, and Best Western Plus Cobourg. This 1 hour and 15 minute training session will be provided on Feb 2, 2026 and Feb 23, 2026 at 7pm at the Firehall Theatre.

Jack Boyagian (President) and Kaye Torrie (Front of House Lead) will cover topics including:

  • Greeting patrons
  • Accessibility
  • Emergency procedures
  • 50/50 ticket sales at the Best Western
  • Assisting with seating at the Best Western and Victoria Hall
  • Using Square for ticket sales
  • Concession responsibilities
  • Working with stage managers
