This is a formal CALL FOR NOMINATIONS for the upcoming election to the Board of Directors at the Northumberland Players GMM to be held on Monday November 27, 2023.

All members who are in good standing and have 2 additional supporting members (also in good standing) are eligible for nomination for election to the Board of Directors and Executive Positions. The board shall consist of 9 – 13 members as elected at the GMM. This year there are TWO executive positions (President and Secretary) and up to SEVEN Director positions available. 

The Board of Directors is composed of willing and committed individuals who participate in the decision-making and share responsibilities for the on-going management of this dynamic and very busy company. The Northumberland Players Board is a “working” board, with each person taking an active role in the running of this organization. Managing the Northumberland Players is a big responsibility, and a lot of work, but it is also an excellent opportunity to determine where the company will be going in the future.

• Directors attend monthly Board meetings where decisions are made, submit monthly reports, and keep up to date by reading the reports of other directors.
• Directors take on one or more portfolios according to their interests, skills, and/or desire to learn. 
• Directors serve a term of 2 years, but can return for multiple terms.
