This is the first call for directors for the 2023-24 season. We mount a musical, Firehall dramas, dinner theatre comedies, and a youth theatre show. Directors are selected by experience and availability. It is an asset if you are already a member of the Northumberland Players but new experienced directors are encouraged especially if you live in Northumberland County. 

If you have a show in mind please include this in your email, along with a short resume of your experience directing. 

We also have a short list of plays that has been compiled by a reading committee if you need some suggestions. As an example, all selections this season but one came from directors. The musical and plays not on the list will be sent to a committee to discuss. The slate will be compiled and the Board will vote on the selections. 

For directors with little experience we can discuss mentoring or shadowing opportunities. 

Send a short resume, possible play choice or genre as a first step and then I will put you on the list of directors and send more information about the season and the needs of the season.
