The Northumberland Players are looking for directors to direct musicals, comedies, dramas and Youth theatre productions.

We mount shows at various venues:

• The Best Western – 3 dinner theatre comedies, farces and small musicals
• The Firehall Theatre – socially relevant dramas and Canadian plays and a possible playreading series
• Victoria Hall – Christmas Concert and Youth Theatre show
• The Capitol Theatre – a large musical.

This is an expression of interest only at this point – we’re looking to get to know you and your experience. You will be put on a short list and further communication will follow regarding the selection process, play selections and dates of shows. For those with little experience or none please indicate your interest in directing. We will create opportunities for shadowing and mentorship. If you have a title in mind please indicate and it will be ordered for perusal. More titles will be generated by a reading committee.

Directing, stage managing and previous acting experience are considered assets.
