Auditions – “Always a Bridesmaid”

BY JESSIE JONES, NICHOLAS HOPE, JAMIE WOOTEN
Always a Bridesmaid is presented by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Dramatists Play Service.

Directed by Mary Schultz
Produced by Rebecca Reid

In this comedic romp, four friends have sworn to keep the promise they made on the night of their senior prom: to be in each other’s weddings – no matter what. More than thirty years later, the southern friends-for-life are still making the long walk for each other, determined to honour that vow. This is a moving comedy with hilarious calamities and a lovely surprise ending.

The play takes place over a period of seven years.
