— Updated July 6, 2021 – All shows have now been cast, cast announcements will be made soon. Thanks for all of your interest! —
Imagine live theatre and a drink in an outside venue with – yes – people watching. Are we there yet?
As the government regulations begin to favour outdoor events, the Northumberland Players are ready to perform in outdoor venues. We have been working with the Town of Cobourg and local groups to mount 2 staged readings and 2 one act plays outdoors between the end of July and the end of September.
Right now, we need some actors! Further calls for volunteers will follow. Please get involved in the outdoor theatre experience and the fun of live theatre again!
Auditions
All shows have now been cast. Thank you for your interest!
The audition process is modified as we want to avoid large number of people at the Firehall.
Once actors have registered, directors may choose to call actors in small groups or if they have seen actors in other productions they may regard this as an audition. Directors have been asked to call actors they have not seen or call actors if they cannot decide between several people.
To sign up for an audition please contact each show separately. They will send you emails for more details and requirements immediately. A short bio and a headshot would be appreciated.
